Oh and I’m taking dancing lessons, again.
SAY IT HERMAN. I BELIEVE IN YOU.

Am I just going crazy, or is this a dual reference to Slaughterhouse-Five (“When did I get so old?”) and Richard Feynman (“I’d hate to die twice. It’s so boring.”)?
Probably just going crazy…I’ve heard similar sentiment expressed in a few accounts.
On the other hand, Herman is a lot like Billy Pilgrim, really.

Herman the Manatee will delight your whole family in his zany attempts to go about his business before getting maimed by an outboard motorboat. Laugh along as he manages to find himself in trouble again and again! Will that silly manatee never learn?
