Where the Bullet Points end, the blog begins...
After 93 strips, a couple of books and an LP, the Bullet Points are hanging up the weekly comic format. Many webcomics end abruptly with a "well it's been fun but it's just too hard" message, but in the case of the Bullet Points, Jay and I have just decided that the weekly comic just isn't the best format for these characters. The next time you see the Bullet Points, if ever, it will be a longer-form story that does justice to the, er, complex (read "convoluted") concept. As a matter of fact, a script is already begun and we're pretty excited about it, but we'll have to wait until it's closer to completion before we tell you any more.
Our next upcoming release is a comic book we call "The Profiteer," about a superhero who fights crime by bilking villains out of their operating budgets. Jay is furiously trying to finish off the artwork for October, when we'll be presenting it at the Small Press Expo in Bethesda. I finished the script a few months ago and I for one can't wait to see it. You'll laugh like hell or I'll eat your copy!
Meanwhile, we have a whole bunch of other ideas that are currently in the works and as we keep them coming you can read about the latest in this space. We'll also tell you when we'll be at various conventions and other stuff we think you might want to see to keep things interesting. So subscribe to the feed and keep up with us! You'll be glad you did.
We're really happy that so many people have been reading the Bullet Points comic, and that's why this is anything but the end. If you need a fix right now - and still every week - why not check out Jay's absurdly popular Herman the Manatee comic, which posts every Wednesday. I think this week he gets hit by a boat.
So thanks again. We know you have many options for wasting your time, and we're glad you chose Manatee Power!
